Superbly ripe and enticing, the bouquet shows dark fruit, tapenade, thyme, game, and roasted nut characters. The richly expressed palate offers excellent weight and velvety texture, wonderfully structured by grainy tannins, making it firm and brooding. At its best: now to 2033. 94pts. Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
